SACHIN SONI

A seasoned digital artist with 18 years of industry experience, Sachin brings his expertise to iNCUBE8 as the Academics Head.

With a proven track record in both production and training, Sachin joined iNCUBE8 from Technicolor MPC, where he served as a Principal Trainer. His journey began with the iconic TV series Higglytown Heroes and has since included contributions to award-winning projects like Barnyard – The Movie, Little Krishna 3D, and Billnr. At Technicolor, Sachin served as the 3D L&D Manager, conducting over 200 training sessions and managing documentation and assets.

As the Academics Head at iNCUBE8, Sachin is dedicated to maintaining the institute’s academic excellence. He oversees the curriculum, faculty development, and overall educational quality. His extensive experience has undoubtedly been instrumental in fostering the next generation of talented artists at iNCUBE8

JAY MEHTA

Jay Mehta is a veteran VFX artist & Supervisor. With over 15 years of experience on major Hollywood blockbusters, Jay is now a VFX supervisor at Netflix India.
Jay will mentor a new generation of aspiring visual effects artists at Incube8 and also sits on the school’s advisory council.
Some of his projects include Aquaman, Life Of PI, and The Great Wall.

Sachin Shrestha

Imagine a mighty ship sailing through tumultuous seas, with Sachin at the helm – a master captain with a wealth of experience in CG supervision, Technical Supervision, and problem-solving.

Sachin has navigated the choppy waters of the entertainment industry with ease, leaving his mark on some of the biggest Hollywood projects like Planes, Game of Thrones, and HellBoy. He’s also been a driving force in Indian film, with his work appearing in countless blockbusters.

Sachin’s journey in the entertainment industry has been nothing short of impressive. Starting from his early days at Prana Studios, he moved on to join the esteemed FrameStore, where he further honed his skills and gained invaluable experience. Now, as the Co-founder and Head of CG at Fractal Picture, Sachin continues to bring his expertise and passion to the table, guiding his team through every challenge with ease.

He’s a problem-solving guru, anticipating and averting issues before they even arise, saving the day with his creative approach. Sachin’s unwavering commitment to excellence and dedication to producing the best possible results have earned him the utmost respect of his peers and colleagues. He’s a true visionary, guiding his team through the roughest seas with ease and leading them to success.

ARISH FYZEE

Arish was a co-founder of Prana Animation Studios, an artist-driven studio specializing in animated feature and long-form films, episodic TV series, TV specials, and themed entertainment media.

In his career, spanned over 30 years, he has served as Creative Director, Director, or Creative producer for a number of media-based themed attractions and studio franchise projects that have had a worldwide distribution, including Walt Disney Studios, Universal Studios, 20th Century Fox, Netflix, and BBC.

Arish has specialised in creating immersive experiences for audiences of all ages. He has overseen the development, production, and attraction installations for theme parks and Special Venues with a wide range of attraction programming. They include Flying Theatres, Dark Rides, Immersive Media Tunnels, Dome simulators, 4D/5D media attractions, FEC programming, Giant Screen Formats, and Interactive Experience applications.

Mehma Sachdeva

Introducing Mehma Sachdeva, the jack-of-all-trades and master-of-all at Spire.

With an artistic flair that spans over two decades, Mehma has dazzled audiences with her 3D animation and VFX wizardry on Bollywood classics like Veer Zara and Kal Ho Naa Ho. But she didn’t stop there. Her passion for the creative process led her to pursue a Masters in Digital Imaging and Design from NYU, where she honed her production management skills.
As a producer at Prana Studios, Mehma contributed to the Emmy-winning Game of Thrones episode “The Dance of the Dragons,” as well as Disney’s Planes and critically acclaimed Bollywood flick Bombay Velvet. She even delivered thrilling theme park experiences like the Independence Day – Defiance ride in Malaysia and the Bollywood Parks in Dubai.
Now, as the Head of Production at Spire, Mehma brings her unmatched expertise in team-building and mentorship to the table. With her visionary approach and unwavering commitment to excellence, Mehma is set to transform the world of creative production.

AMIT SHARMA

Amit Sharma, Started his career at Crest Animation studio as a junior Animator. Being involved with India’s 1st CGI project “PIGGLY WINKS” and projects like “PET ALLIEN” – Mikeyoung (Now merged with ‘Splash Animation’) paved the path for him to establish himself as a professional Animator. Apart from the professional commitments, he was also a part of “LUBDHANAM CORA” a winning best animated short film at the “TBS Digicon Awards”, Japan. His role as an Animation Supervisor began with the well known “LEGO” brand in collaboration with Prime Focus . After the successful “LEGO KNIGHTRONICS” , he had the opportunity to supervise a full length feature film “HERE COMES THE GRUMP” . This project marked his last association with Prime focus as an Employee. Started 2018 as an Animation Supervisor at 88 Pictures for “BUTTERBEAN CAFE” in collaboration with Brown Bag Films , followed by a Netflix release series “DRAGONS” -Dreamworks . Amit took up the role as an Animation Director for the project “DO RE MI” – a French client association. (Yet to be released) Along with supervising roles , he got his hands back at Animation for a brief moment on the Netflix release series “WIZARDS”-Dreamworks . The last association with 88 Pictures was the popular Netflix release “ FAST AND FURIOUS” the series. This definitely marks as one of the major projects and clients in his experience so far.

AIJAZ RASHID

Introducing Aijaz, an accomplished MBA graduate with over 18 years of industry experience in post-production. Aijaz started his career as a management trainee with Crest Communication, before moving on to Prime Focus and Pixion where he garnered expertise in the entire cycle of filmmaking. From conventional post-production to film lab specialization and producing television advertisements, Aijaz has done it all.
Currently, Aijaz is a part of Fractal Picture as Creative Producer and leads a talented production crew. His extensive background and experience have enabled him to attract business from all over the world, including the Middle East, Africa, and China, where he played a crucial role in developing a sizable market for visual effects and animation.
Aijaz’s remarkable skills and achievements have recently been recognized by the Visual Effects Society, which has admitted him as a member. This gives him the opportunity to network with the best in the business and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in his field.
Despite his busy schedule, Aijaz has a passion for classic cars and would have probably chosen to work on restoring them if he wasn’t in this line of business. Aijaz’s strong work ethic, attention to detail, and creative thinking make him an invaluable asset to any project he takes on.

Unmesh Nimbalkar, is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of expertise in the Animation/VFX industry, specializing in the realm of Digital Compositing. Throughout his illustrious career, Unmesh has continuously pushed the boundaries of creativity and innovation. Currently serving as the Compositing Supervisor at Fractal Picture, he holds a pivotal role in shaping the artistic vision and leading the compositing department. 

A leader in every sense of the word, Unmesh has a proven track record of leading teams and mentoring future leaders within renowned post-production facilities, including Fractal Picture, Redefine, Dneg, Rhythm and Hues India, and Prana Studios. 

His remarkable work was recognized by the Visual Effects Society (VES) when he was nominated for the prestigious 17th VES Awards for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project. This acknowledgement reflects his commitment to delivering excellence and pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling. 

His remarkable journey, exceptional leadership skills, and dedication to delivering unparalleled visual experiences have solidified his reputation as a trailblazer in the field of digital compositing.

Jimmy Machado

Introducing Jimmy Machado, a highly accomplished artist and the Head of Texturing & Look Development at Fractal Picture. After completing his fine art education, Jimmy embarked on a professional journey that has left an indelible mark on the animation and film industries.

Throughout his career, Jimmy has had the privilege of working on various noteworthy projects such as the Disney Tinker Bell film “Secret of the Wings,” Disney Planes: Fire and Rescue,” and the thrilling Chim Long theme park ride film. In addition to these accomplishments, Jimmy has also made significant contributions to the streaming industry, collaborating on the Netflix show “WaterShip Down.” Furthermore, he has left his artistic imprint on the Bollywood film industry through his work on theatrical releases such as “Manikarnika,” “Zero,” and “Adipurush.” 

Jimmy’s favorite software, Mari, has become his trusted companion throughout his career, allowing him to create intricate and captivating textures. Additionally, he finds immense joy in the art of look development, particularly when utilizing the Arnold renderer, which empowers him to craft stunning visual experiences. His passion for art, unwavering commitment to excellence, and mastery of industry-standard software have solidified his reputation as a talented and versatile artist in the world of animation and visual effects.

Behram Patel

Behram Patel, a seasoned VFX, virtual and augmented reality consultant with over 16 years of experience, has contributed significantly to the media and entertainment industry. He has worked with renowned commercial and educational brands across India, demonstrating his expertise in advanced technologies. Known for his ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear and engaging explanations, Behram has recently joined incube8 as an R&D supervisor, where he continues to drive innovation and development in the field.

Ramanand Bhagat

Professor Ramanand V. Bhagat, a renowned figure in the world of Indian illustration, has dedicated his career to bridging the gap between traditional and digital art. With a B.F.A. and an M.F.A. from Mumbai University Professor Bhagat’s love for storytelling found its perfect canvas in the realm of biological comics. He breathed life into historical figures like G.D. Birla and Narayan Guru, creating visual biographies that not only informed but also inspired. His work on the Indus Valley Civilization for Amar Chitra Katha brought ancient history to life, captivating young minds with its rich illustrations and engaging narratives.

Beyond his creative pursuits, Professor Bhagat has shared his expertise as a faculty member at prestigious institutions like Rachana Sansad College of Applied Art and Craft and Goa College of Art. In recognition of his contributions to children’s literature, Professor Bhagat was awarded the National Award for Children’s Literature in 2000.
Professor Bhagat joined iNCUBE8 with the vision to impart traditional artistic skills to the budding digital artists of the future. This unique blend of traditional and digital expertise has made him a valuable asset to the art community, ensuring that the rich heritage of Indian illustration is preserved and passed on to the next generation.
